Mini Boreholes

Mini boreholes are a great solution in sandy or clay soil conditions, such as exist in many parts of the Southern Suburbs and Cape Flats. Our equipment can drill to a max of 40 metres and can be transported through doorways and yard gates to access the backyard area of your property.

It is also almost silent and very low impact, compared to the standard big rig and compressor arrangement. It is also very water efficient as water used in drilling is stored in bins and re-cycled back down the drill shaft. The drill shaft is cased with slotted PVC and is wide enough to take a 3 inch submersible pump as per a standard borehole.
